The journey

From Saturday chaos to summer ritual.

How one family's summer changes:

  1. 🌪️1. Saturday, 8 AM — chaos

Three apps, conflicting numbers, kids asking "are we going??" You're guessing with an audience.

  2. 📱2. You open BeachCall

One tap on your beach. No accounts, no tabs, no marine-forecast decoder ring.

  3. 3. The verdict lands

"GO 10–2, skip the afternoon wind." The exact window, one honest reason, data stamped and sourced.

  4. 🏖️4. Beach day saved

You arrive at 10, leave at 2 like a genius, and miss the whitecaps entirely.

  5. ☀️5. You grab the $9 pass

All 8 beaches, all summer. Less than one parking meter at Jones Beach.

  6. 📬6. The ritual

Every morning the go/no-go lands in your inbox before the kids wake up. Friday brings the weekend outlook. BeachCall becomes the family's summer ritual.

How it works

Thirty seconds, every morning.

  1. 🏖️Pick your beach

Eight NYC-area beaches, from Coney Island to the Hamptons. Free tier covers one; the pass covers all eight.

  2. 📊We read the water

Each morning we pull water temp, waves, wind, air temp and rain from the National Weather Service and NOAA — and stamp every verdict with its data-as-of time. If the data is stale, we say so instead of guessing.

  3. You get the call

GO or SKIP, the best hours, one honest reason. Pass holders get it in their inbox before they've had coffee.

FAQ

Fair questions.

What do I get for free?

Today's verdict for one NYC-area beach, free, every day: GO or SKIP, the best-hours window, and one honest reason why. Up to 10 verdict views per day per device network. No account, no card, no catch.

What does the $9 Summer Pass add?

All 8 beaches every day, best-hours windows for each, a morning go/no-go email in your inbox, and a Friday weekend outlook so you can plan ahead. One $9 payment covers the whole summer season.

Where does the verdict data come from?

Water temperature, wave height, wind, air temperature and precipitation from the National Weather Service and NOAA — both free US public-domain feeds, both cleared for commercial use. Recomputed each morning for the America/New_York day, and every verdict card carries a "data as of" timestamp. If the data is more than 4 hours stale or a feed is down, we say "verdict unavailable" — we never show stale numbers and never fabricate a GO or SKIP.

What if the verdict is wrong?

It's a forecast, not a promise — the ocean does what it wants. We show our work (per-factor chips and data-as-of) so you can judge the call yourself. The verdict is guidance for planning your day, not a safety guarantee: always follow lifeguard and local advisories.

Do you send marketing emails?

Only the emails you asked for: your verdict delivery, your pass receipt, and — for pass holders — the morning go/no-go and the Friday outlook. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing immediately stops all BeachCall mail to that address.

How do I delete my data?

Email info@mehyar.us with "delete my BeachCall data" and we delete your subscriber and order records within 30 days. You can also unsubscribe with one click from any email, which immediately suppresses your address.

Make it the summer ritual.

Start with today's free verdict. When you're tired of the 8 AM guessing game, the morning email answers before the kids wake up.
